How do I restore my cards to an existing iPad?

Restore cards to an existing iPad (CardStar v4.x)
If you are using a device you have previously used CardStar on before and find that your cards are missing you can easily restore your cards to your device if you have set up a CardStar account, have backed up your cards to our secure cloud and have access to your account’s passcode.
To restore your cards to your new iPad:
  1. Open the CardStar app.
  2. Select the Restore button in the top right hand corner.
  3. Select Restore this device and OK.
  4. You will be prompted to enter the 4-digit passcode your account was originally backed up to.
  5. To verify that your information is saved each time a change is made to your CardStar library, press the gear icon again and make sure Auto backup is ON Auto Sync is OFF. To keep this device synced to an account on another device press the gear icon again and make sure Auto backup is OFF Auto Sync is ON.
Note: The most common reasons cards go missing inside CardStar are:
  • An iTunes failure to restore information within applications during an update or sync.
  • Incorrect backup settings inside the application (either auto backup OR auto sync should be tuned ON, not both).
